Accent Walls: Storytelling with Wallpaper

If your walls could talk, what would they say? What stories would they tell or rather, what stories would you like them to tell?

A lot of people use paint to add a splash of color on their walls, but have your thought of wallpaper?

Wallpaper isn't how it used to be.You don't have to have floral print unless you want to. Pretty much any design can be found or made onto wallpaper, you just need to know the right sources.

There are so many designs to choose from- blessing and curse. It may be a good idea to contact an interior designer/decorator or color consultant to help you narrow down on your choices or help you discover a brand that may have what you are imagining.

With new technology and methods, the labor of wallpaper isn't as tedious as it used to be. Now, there are wallpapers you can just peel and stick. How awesome is that? I haven't personally done this with full length wallpaper, but I did order some peel-and-stick picture decals (the New York skyline triptych shown below).

Peel-and-stick is great for rental spaces since you can easily remove them and reapply, just be careful as you gently peel it off the walls so you don't damage the wallpaper/decal. Mitchell Black and Sweet Pea Wall Design, named below, provides peel-and-stick wallpapers.
