IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

It's Cinco de Mayo which means it's not a Mexican holiday so, please enjoy tequila in celebration of my birthday instead of the fake holiday.

Also, please exclude the sombreos and fake mustaches.

Anyway, it is my 27th birthday and I am sooooo excited about this year!

I'm going to be attending my very first interior design conference: The Black Interior Designer's Conference in Atlanta, GA in July, I'm working with clients via Havenly, I am slowly, but surely, working on my business to get it ready for launching sometime hopefully in the near future, and I get to enjoy my birthday tomorrow with some of my family members.

Twenty-six was an eye-opening year. There were lots of tears, self-doubt, lots of "what is my purpose?", and just general evaluation of my life. I think I have a better understanding of what I need to do internally so that externally I will be ready to hit the ground running with my soon-to-be interior design firm and I'll be radiating confidence and strength as I run it. I don't expect it to be perfect. I expect it to be hard as hell, but with a clearer mind and being focused and finding a balance that works, I'll be just fine.

I don't really want anything for my birthday other than to start my business Lol. I know I'm not ready yet and finances aren't 100% but that is really all I want. I have been stocking up on self-help books and reference books to get me ready as I prepare.
